Family Tree Pottery was founded by Joan Lindt in 1993 in Petaluma, California. Joan holds a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree from San Jose State University in Ceramics and Metal Sculpture.

Joan has been teaching children and adults how to throw on the potter’s wheel and hand build unique creations for the last 26 years. Inspired by clay in high school and college, Joan has continued to bring clay art to the community teaching at several schools in Petaluma. She enjoys helping bring people’s ideas to life with clay. It is an expressive way to add balance to your life through creativity!

To introduce more people to the wonders of clay and art and enrich lives through “clay therapy."

Family Tree Pottery asks that you give 24 hours notice if you are going to miss a class. If you do not provide adequate notice and you cannot make-up the class within the same week, you will be charged for the class. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.
